Tom Shaw Realtors was founded in 1922 by Charles A Shaw (Mayor of Clayton from 1930 to 1942, and namesake of (Shaw Park) and Joseph Francis.  Then known as Shaw-Francis, Inc., these community leaders played a key role in the development of the City of Clayton, which was rural and undeveloped, much as West St. Louis County and the surrounding areas were in the 1960's. In the mid 1960's Tom Shaw Realtors relocated to Chesterfield, to lead in the development of the next great suburban St Louis community.  For over 80 years, Tom Shaw Realtors has been a leader in the sale or development of nearly 75,000 acres of land as well as thousands of commercial and residential properties.
